Intro Script — “How to Think Like a Narcotics & Homicide Detective in LSPDFR”

"Welcome back, officers. Today we’re stepping into a different style of policing — one built
on investigation, intuition, and the ability to turn small clues into big cases. This system
isn’t about racing from callout to callout. It’s about thinking like a detective, whether
you’re working narcotics, homicides, or inheriting a case that’s already in motion."

"Let’s break down the four keys that drive this experience: H, I, X, F1, and U drops evidence after I is pressed and Z
inspects evidence."

H Key — Witnesses, Family Members, and Unreliable Narrators.
"The H key brings people into your story. Pressing H spawns a witness or a family
member connected to the scene. Sometimes they’re helpful. Sometimes they’re emotional.
And sometimes… they’re the suspect pretending to be a witness. Treat every H‑spawned
person like a real interview. Their behavior, their story, and their inconsistencies can
shape the direction of your case." Roleplay to your liking.

"This works beautifully on homicide scenes too. If you respond to a dead body callout —
or if you’re role‑playing that you’ve inherited an open case — pressing H gives you
someone to question. Someone who might know the victim. Someone who might have
seen something. Or someone who might be lying to your face."
I Key — Evidence, Scene Work, and Case Inheritance

"The I key is your investigative backbone. Use it on any dead body, any abandoned
car, any suspicious scene — even if it came from another plugin. I lets you slow down
and actually work the case. Maybe you find drugs on a body. Maybe you find signs of
a struggle. Maybe you find a note, a phone, or a stash bag in an abandoned vehicle."

"This is also how you role‑play inheriting an open case. You arrive at a scene that’s
already cold. The body’s been found. The car’s been dumped. The suspect is long
gone. Press I, gather what you can, and decide where the case goes next."
X Key — Escalation and Danger on Demand

"The X key is your danger switch. When you’re ready to raise the stakes, X spawns
a hostile suspect. Maybe it’s the killer returning to the scene. Maybe it’s someone
trying to silence your witness. Maybe it’s the person you were just interviewing.
X lets you turn a quiet investigation into a dangerous one — on your terms."

Closing Line

"So whether you’re questioning witnesses, inspecting bodies, inheriting cold cases,
escalating danger, or chasing suppliers, these four keys let you build your own
investigations from the ground up. This isn’t just LSPDFR — this is detective work.
Let’s get started."
